I believe that—even in the midst of pain and distress—each one of us carries the capacity for a meaningful, fulfilling life. You don’t have to walk through the hard stuff alone. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support, insight, and encouragement on your path to healing.
In therapy, I focus on creating a space that feels safe, authentic, and empowering. You can expect a collaborative and compassionate process that honors your story and supports self-discovery. My approach blends evidence-based practices tailored to your unique needs.
I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Psychodynamic Therapy, exploring current struggles and deeper patterns shaped by past experiences. I also specialize in trauma treatment, using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) techniques to support healing in meaningful, lasting ways.
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me spending time with my family (including two lovable dogs) or planning my next travel adventure.

I’m Caroline Kramer, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 5 years of experience in the clinical mental health field.
Since beginning my journey in this field in 2020, I have walked alongside individuals and families in Active Addiction Programs, Partial hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs, Inpatient Psychiatric care facilities, and individual therapy settings.
I was born and raised in Cologne, Germany for the first few years of my life before my parents decided to explore the world and moved us first to Tempe, Arizona, and then later to Jackson, Mississippi.
I received my BA in Psychology and Spanish from Millsaps College, and my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jackson State University.
Possessing a passion for meaningful relationships and helping others is what continues to motivate me to pursue this career path every day.

I take a caring, flexible approach to working with clients facing complex emotional or behavioral challenges. I use evidence-based methods, especially Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I tailor my approach to each person’s unique needs and strengths.
I believe meaningful change begins with understanding, and acceptance. I focus on helping clients navigate their challenges through empathy, curiosity, and vulnerability. I aim to create a space that is both grounding and human, where insight and compassion come together. I value collaboration, practical everyday tools, and humor when it fits.
I have experience treating ADHD, anxiety, grief/loss, mood disorders, OCD, personality disorders, and trauma. Over the years, I’ve led presentations on a variety of subjects, including CBT, Men’s Mental Health, and Exposure and Response Prevention for the treatment of OCD.
Outside of work, I’m a nature enthusiast and animal lover. I enjoy hiking, bird-watching, and being outdoors. I also love singing, making music, laughing, and quality time with family and friends.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a deep commitment to providing compassionate, comprehensive mental health care.
I specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. I offer both medication management and therapeutic support, tailoring each treatment plan to the individual needs, goals, and circumstances of the people I serve.
Born and raised in a small Delta town in Mississippi, I bring a warm, down-to-earth perspective to my practice. My journey in healthcare began at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where I earned both my Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked 7 years as a registered nurse in the fast-paced environment of an emergency department. That experience gave me invaluable insight into acute care, crisis intervention, patient advocacy, and the importance of meeting people with compassion during some of their most difficult moments.
I am board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and remain committed to ongoing professional development and evidence-based care. My approach to mental health treatment is rooted in empathy, trust, and a strong belief in the resilience of the human spirit.
I strive to create a space where individuals feel heard, respected, and comfortable being honest about what they are experiencing so that, together, we can develop a treatment plan that feels both effective and meaningful.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending quality time outdoors with my husband and our three young children. Whether we are going on a hike, having a picnic, or simply playing in the backyard, I value the time we spend together.
My personal and professional lives are guided by many of the same values: connection, compassion, and a deep appreciation for the healing power of relationships.

As a Mississippi girl born and raised, I understand the importance of community, resilience, and having someone who will simply sit with you when life feels overwhelming.
As a Mississippi girl born and raised, I understand the importance of community, resilience, and having someone who will simply sit with you when life feels overwhelming.
Counseling is more than a career to me, it's a calling. I believe every person has a story worth telling and that healing is possible, even after life's hardest seasons.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Master of Arts in Teaching, and Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mississippi College.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with adolescents, adults, couples, and groups in both community and behavioral health settings, helping individuals navigate grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges, and life's unexpected transitions.
Grief and trauma hold a special place in my heart. While my passion has been shaped through years of professional experience, it has also been influenced by my own understanding of how life's unexpected challenges can change us. Those experiences have deepened my compassion and strengthened my commitment to helping others find hope again.
My approach to therapy is authentic, compassionate, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Reality Therapy, and trauma-informed care, but I believe the most important part of therapy is the relationship we build together.
I strive to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to grow, and empowered to move forward.
As a Christian, my faith is an important part of who I am and the way I live my life. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and, for those who desire it, I am happy to integrate faith into the counseling process.
Outside of the therapy room, I love spending time with my family, chasing sunsets, traveling, and enjoying God's creation. Whether I'm hunting, fishing, listening to music, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature, these moments remind me to slow down and to find joy in the little things.
Giving back to my community is also important to me. I serve as a board member for Anchored Christian Grief Camp, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and families through grief.
I enjoy helping host grief retreats and creating spaces where people can find connection, healing, and hope.

My goal is to walk alongside clients as they build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and develop the skills needed to create meaningful change. I strive to help clients recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and create lives that align with their values and promote overall well-being.
I am a Mississippi native and earned my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families across inpatient, partial hospitalization and outpatient settings. Throughout my career, I have provided individual, family, couple and group therapy to clients with diverse backgrounds, challenges, and mental health needs. My education, combined with my clinical experience, has strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are and provide care tailored to their unique goals and circumstances while recognizing the unique relationships and systems that influence each person's journey.
My clinical experience includes supporting individuals navigating substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. My approach is integrative and rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centered therapy. I also incorporate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand their experiences, increase psychological flexibility, and foster lasting healing.
I believe growth is not about perfection, but about the willingness to continue moving forward. Therapy is a journey rooted in self-compassion, curiosity, and courage. Together, we can build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and take meaningful steps toward healing and growth.
Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy teaching fitness classes, spending time with loved ones, traveling, and reading. I believe true health is holistic, encompassing the mind, body, and spirit. Caring for each area of ourselves promotes balance, resilience, and overall well-being. It's my honor to support clients in developing emotional wellness while also fostering a deeper sense of wholeness, connection, and fulfillment in their lives.
